Outstanding Experience at The Seven Stars in Durham. Visiting from Leigh on Sea and was thrilled with the meal!! We had an absolutely fantastic visit to The Seven Stars in Durham. Matthew, the proprietor, was an incredible host, sharing fascinating details about the history of the pub, which added a wonderful personal touch to our experience. The food was simply sublime—especially the roast dinner, which was a perfect 10/10! The roasts were beautifully prepared and utterly delicious. The ambience was cosy and welcoming, with the restaurant full of happy diners, creating a warm and lively atmosphere. The entire experience was second to none, and we would highly recommend The Seven Stars to anyone looking for great food, excellent service, and a delightful setting. Can’t wait to visit again! Dog & child friendly too!

Called in early evening for a meal. Start serving at 5pm. Had chicken supreme. Wished I'd had steak pie or lasagne, but chicken was fine but I tend to like stronger flavours. Veg (potato, mangetout and cabbage) was fresh and cooked well...still a bit of crunch in the greens, as I like it. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Will go back again.
